How/where I met my spouse
Church singles group. She didn't like me at first. She was in school and needed to write a paper, but did not have a computer. I offered her the use of mine. She tried so hard to find another computer she could use, and finally gave in and used mine. I cooked dinner for her, offered help with her paper and proofread it for her. She decided that maybe she was wrong about me.
Situation
A house on the west side of the valley with some of hers and some of mine, 2 dogs, 2 rabbits and a chinchilla.
Kids
Six girls, one boy. Ages 27 to 13 yrs, but she has 14 of her own. We have 30 grandkids between the two of us and counting.

I delivered roofing material for two years.
College
Some business school. I got a diploma in data processing, but I was so burned out by the time I was done, I didn't go into the industry for another 10 years.
Unfulfilled dream
Hike the entire Pacific Crest Trail. I attempted in 2008, but only managed to do the first 154 miles. I was plagued with small injuries, and staying in motels while they healed was getting too expensive.
Other comments
Toward the end of our senior year, I converted to evangelical Christianity. Devon MacDonald had a big part in that. Those of you who knew me in high school would hardly know me now.
There was no money or clear direction for college (or the maturity to survive college) when I graduated, so I got a grunt-work job after a summer of fooling around. I worked in warehousing for several years. Then I went into developing computer based multimedia training. Now I work out of my home developing The Math Worksheet Site.
I live in West Jordan, Utah, southwest of Salt Lake City.
