"Blue skies and big fun" would be the perfect way to describe our 25th reunion gathering at Blue Ridge Beach in Seattle. The weather and views of the Sound and Olympics were Seattle perfect and proved to be just the right back-drop for a day of reconnecting with old friends. Many of us who attended didn't even know each other in high school, but by the end of the day we found we'd made new "old" friends, discovering the common bond of being from the same graduating class to be strong and meaningful.

Luke Lefler reprised his radio persona, "Baron Landscape" to provide us with an eclectic assortment of music throughout the day and evening. Steve Pendergast brought and narrated a short home movie taken early in our junior year that featured some amazing hairstyles, clothes and cars! Tim Otonicar was surprised to see his mug pop up on the film as well as his old truck! The movie also showed footage of classmate Wynn Wiley who has since passed away...a sobering reminder to enjoy our friendships while we can.

Highlights from the day included a fun bunch of ice breaking activities fascilitated by George Liepart. We learned more about each other than we'd ever thought possible including most harrowing experience, most unusual job, most kids, longest marriage (Bobby and Lisa Curtis...25 years), most marriages, and most miles travelled since high school! We also voted on who we thought still looked the same as they did back in 1977. Debie Miller took those honors followed very closely by Ruby Regis, Laura Gest and Kurt Armbruster, but in the expert opinion of this writer, every single person in attendance looked like a million bucks!

Everyone who attended is pictured in our reunion gallery with the exception of Brad Nye. If you look real close, that is Brad second from the right playing volleyball...
